The strongest of the three complete Aisin AS69RC replacement transmissions BD sells. Alongside the nitride billet K2 hub, BD adds friction plates to the K2, K3 and B1 clutch packs so the transmission can hold more torque before it slips.
why this one — This is the only one of the three BD packages whose page states an actual internal change beyond the hub, and added clutch friction is the change that matters if the truck is already tuned and working hard. It is also the most expensive at 9,500 dollars, so if your truck is stock you are buying holding capacity you will never reach.
