A cat-back exhaust replaces the pipes and muffler from the catalytic converter to the tip. It changes how the truck sounds and drops a little weight. This one is the MBRP 4" Armor Plus Cat Back Exhaust, 2006-2007 LBZ, listed to fit the 2006-2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD/3500HD with the 6.6L Duramax V8 (LBZ). The listing describes it as stainless steel, lifetime warranty.

why this one — Cat-backs are a sound and looks upgrade first. Treat any power claim as unproven unless the maker publishes a dyno sheet. DmaxStore lists it at $704.99, and the fitment above is what the listing itself states, not a guess.
