why this one — This is the intake for an older F-450, and the reason to prefer it over the newer S&B kit is emissions paperwork: Banks lists this one as 50 state compliant under CARB EO D-161-132 and names F-450 in the fitment, where S&B explicitly carves F-450 out of its exemption. If you get tested, check the EO document itself covers your exact truck before you count on it. Regular price is 498.89 dollars. The obvious limit is coverage, it only fits 2017-2019, so a 2020 or newer F-450 needs a different Banks part number.
