why this one — This is the only intake here that quotes both a best case and an average, up to 14 hp with an average of 12, and quotes it at the wheels rather than at the crank, which is the more honest way to state it. It is still the manufacturer's own number, not an independent test. The catch is that Cold Air Inductions' own product page was dead when this was checked, so pricing and support run through retailers.
