A clean side separator catches oil vapor being pulled back into your intake tract, on the opposite side from where a catch can works. It keeps the intake side of the engine cleaner over the life of the truck.
why this one — The 5.0L version cut for the 14th-generation truck, 2021-2023. Fittings and line routing changed with the new chassis, so the earlier 5.0L kit does not carry over.
