The hot-side charge pipe is the tube carrying hot pressurised air from the turbocharger to the intercooler. The factory one restricts flow; this is a smooth mandrel-bent aluminium replacement.
why this one — This is genuine turbo-specific plumbing rather than a generic bolt-on, and it targets the hottest, highest-pressure section of the intake tract. Check carefully: it fits the gas twin-turbo only, NOT the i-FORCE MAX hybrid.
CLAIMED (flow only) - afepower.com states it "Outflows the Factory Charge Pipe by up to +17%" and says it increases horsepower and torque through reduced turbulence, but publishes NO hp/tq number for this SKU. No number invented.
