A set of eight direct injection fuel injectors that replace the factory ones and flow about 45 percent more than stock. They do not make power on their own. They give the fuel system enough capacity to feed an engine that is already making more power than stock.
why this one — Katech rates this set to support up to 1,200 wheel horsepower on gasoline or 900 on E85, which covers most boosted 5.3L and 6.2L builds without stepping up to the Stage II set. It only makes sense alongside a supercharger or a built engine plus a supporting tune, and it is a deep teardown job on a Gen V engine. The 7.5mm stems will not fit 2021 and newer heads.
Katech's own page states these injectors support "up to 1,200 WHP on Gasoline" and "up to 900 WHP on E85" and flow "45% greater than factory LT1/L86 injectors" - an injector flow-capacity rating, not a dyno-tested gain figure for a stock truck.
