These are direct-injection injectors that replace the factory ones feeding fuel straight into the cylinders. Bigger injectors flow more fuel per pulse, which is what lets a tuned engine safely support more power than stock fueling allows. On their own they add nothing; the tune is what uses them.

why this one — This is the Gen 2 version of XDI's 2000cc injector, cut for the 2017-2020 3.5L EcoBoost and Raptor, where the Gen 1 set elsewhere in this list covers the earlier trucks. XDI sells it on a stated flow size rather than a horsepower promise, which is the honest way to sell an injector. Two catches: we could not get a current price off the retailer page, so treat the cost as unconfirmed until you call, and swapping direct injectors on this engine is intake-off work that is worthless without a tune written for them.
