The turbo inlet pipes are the short tubes carrying air from the air filters into the turbochargers. The factory ones are a restriction; these are smoother, larger silicone replacements.
why this one — This is one of the few genuinely turbo-specific parts for the new Tundra, and it targets a real factory restriction right at the turbo mouth. Important: aFe states it only fits trucks that ALREADY have an aFe intake installed, so it is a second step, not a first one.
CLAIMED (manufacturer dyno) - afepower.com states "Dyno-Proven Gains: +10 HP and +12 Lbs. x Ft. TQ", "Measured Flow: 560 CFM @ 7in H20 (Turbo Inlets Only)", "Outflows Factory Turbo Inlets by 14%". aFe's own dyno. NOTE the gain is measured with the inlets only and presumes the matching aFe intake is fitted.
