why this one — This is the cheaper way into an AlphaRex taillight at $515 against $695 for the LUXX, and the compromises are stated plainly: you get the four-tube look instead of the LUXX styling, and the reverse light stays halogen. Factory LED trucks need the $65 converter, which brings it to $580, and it is listed through 2025 rather than 2026.
