fitment

Requires: gapping the plugs before they go in. NGK ships the 6510 / TR7IX at roughly 0.040 to 0.044 inch out of the box, which is too wide for a boosted Coyote and causes misfire, rough idle and breakup under full throttle. Forced-induction Coyote builds are commonly gapped around 0.026 to 0.028 inch; use the figure your tuner specifies. This is a universal Coyote 5.0L plug rather than an F-150-specific part number, so fitment follows the engine rather than the truck year.

A colder-heat-range NGK iridium plug commonly recommended for supercharged or turbocharged Coyote engines to help prevent pre-ignition; requires a smaller gap (0.026-0.028in) and tuner confirmation.

why this one — NGK is a widely trusted plug brand and this exact plug is a common recommendation in Coyote tuning communities.

why no number is shown

Protection component. A power claim does not apply; the part guards existing hardware, it does not add engine output.
