install
5/5 difficulty · Rough Country does not publish an install time for this kit. Rated a hard job because the instructions call for cutting and drilling, and the truck needs an alignment plus possible recalibration of the Toyota Safety Sense driver-assist cameras afterward.
fitment

Drivetrain: 4WD only

Requires: Requires 20-inch or larger wheels. Cutting and drilling required. Recalibration of Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) may be required after install.

A full 4 inch lift for the current-body Tundra. Unlike a spacer level, this raises the whole truck and includes brackets that reposition the rear upper control arms so the rear axle sits where the factory geometry expects it after the lift.

why this one — If you want a 4 inch Tundra on 35s without stepping into three-thousand-dollar coilover territory, this is the mainstream option and it carries Rough Country's lifetime warranty. Be honest with yourself about the install before you buy: Rough Country states cutting and drilling are required, it is 4WD only, it does not fit TRD Pro, XSP-X, or trucks with rear air ride, and it requires 20 inch or larger wheels. The Toyota Safety Sense system may also need recalibrating after the ride height changes, which usually means a shop visit.
