A replacement torque converter for the Aisin built around the ATS Five Star Viskus clutch drive and a mixed-flow stator, and cut to the factory stall speed so the truck still pulls away from a stop the way it did stock.

why this one — Factory stall speed is the reason to look at this one. A higher stall converter makes a heavy truck feel lazy off the line and dumps more heat into the transmission fluid when you tow, and ATS deliberately did not go there. It is 205 dollars more than the ATS Heavy Duty converter, and ATS does not publish a side by side showing what the Five Star clutch drive gains you, so ask them before you pay the difference.
