A complete replacement automatic transmission that ships with a matched torque converter, built to drop straight in where the factory Aisin AS69RC came out. BD rebuilds it around their own nitride billet K2 hub, which is the part of the stock Aisin that wears its splines out.
why this one — The least expensive of the three BD packages for this transmission at 6,500 dollars, and the one to look at if your truck is close to stock and you just want the K2 hub weakness dealt with before it bites. It is still a whole transmission, so you are paying transmission money plus a day of shop labor for a part that makes no power on its own.
