why this one — KC Turbos is one of the most established names for rebuilding and upgrading Power Stroke diesel turbos, and this is their entry-level upgrade for the 6.0L. KC's own listing says it supports 425 to 525-plus horsepower with other supporting parts - that is KC's claimed ceiling for a built-up truck, not a tested gain over the stock turbo, and no independent dyno test was found.
