If you added a tune, bigger injectors, or a supercharger to your F-150 and it started running lean, stumbling under load, or throwing codes past a certain point, the fuel system is usually why. Stock pumps and injectors are sized for the stock engine. Push past that and the truck needs more fuel flow before it needs anything else.

What you actually need depends entirely on which engine you have. The 2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost, the Raptor's high output 3.5L, the 5.0L V8, and the 3.0L Power Stroke diesel all use different fuel delivery, so there's no single list that covers all of them. We'll go engine by engine.
One thing up front, and it matters here more than in most categories: this is not legal advice. Running E85, swapping injectors, or adding a high pressure fuel pump can affect emissions compliance and your factory warranty depending on your state and how the truck is used. That's a question for your dealer or an attorney, not a parts list.
2.7L and 3.5L EcoBoost
These engines are direct injected and turbocharged, so fuel pressure and volume run out of headroom faster than on a naturally aspirated engine. If a tune is in your future, the fuel system is often the first thing to hit its limit.
A drop-in pump is the cheapest insurance. The {{part:FUEL-WALBRO-F90000267}} is a 3.5L specific in-tank pump, and the {{part:FUEL-DW-400PUMP}} covers 2.7L, 3.5L, and Raptor. Neither publishes a horsepower number, because a pump by itself doesn't make power. It just keeps the injectors fed when everything else downstream is asking for more fuel.
If the build is going to run E85 or a flex blend, the ECU needs a way to know what's actually in the tank. The {{part:FUEL-AEM-30-2200}} and {{part:FUEL-AEM-30-2201}} are the same AEM ethanol content sensor in two different fitting styles, and the {{part:FUEL-FUELIT-BT-3517}} does the same job over Bluetooth for 3.5L trucks. None of these make power on their own. They're the sensor a tuner needs to safely run ethanol blends.
For trucks pushing real boost, the high pressure fuel pump itself becomes the bottleneck. The {{part:FUEL-LIVERNOIS-HPFP-1116}} is a tuner bundle built around an upgraded HPFP for the 3.5L, and {{part:FUEL-NOSTRUM-HPFP-1720}} and {{part:FUEL-XDI-HPFP-GEN1}} are the same category of part from different shops. The catalog doesn't have a tested or claimed gain figure for any HPFP on its own, which tracks: it's a supporting part, and the gain shows up in the tune, not the pump.
Injectors are the other half of the equation. The {{part:FUEL-ID-1050-3517}} is Injector Dynamics' 1050cc set that fits both 3.5L and Raptor, and the {{part:FUEL-DW-HDEV1700-1115}} is DeatschWerks' set for 3.5L. Bigger sizes exist for the Raptor specifically, covered below.
A surge tank, like the {{part:FUEL-RADIUM-SURGETANK}}, addresses fuel starvation under hard cornering or aggressive driving where the stock tank can momentarily uncover the pickup. It's a niche part, not something a daily driver build needs.
Raptor (3.5L High Output)
The Raptor's twin turbo 3.5L already makes more power stock than a regular EcoBoost, so its fuel system headroom for future mods is narrower to begin with.
The one genuinely tested number in this whole category comes from here. COBB rates the {{part:FUEL-COBB-FLEXFUEL-RAP1720}} flex fuel upgrade at 514 whp and 595 wtq on E50, as part of a bundled Stage 2 dyno pull, and the {{part:FUEL-COBB-FLEXFUEL-BUNDLE-RAP1720}} is the same kit sold bundled with COBB's Stage 1 power package. Those are the manufacturer's own dyno numbers, not independent verification, and they describe the whole bundle running E50, not the flex fuel sensor hardware in isolation. Worth knowing before you assume that number belongs to the sensor kit alone.
Injector Dynamics sells Raptor injectors in three sizes: the {{part:FUEL-ID-1050-3517}} shared with the 3.5L, the {{part:FUEL-ID-1750-RAP1720}}, and the {{part:FUEL-ID-2600-RAP1720}}. Fuel Injector Clinic covers the same truck across seven sizes, from the {{part:FUEL-FIC-0540-RAP1719}} up to the {{part:FUEL-FIC-2150-RAP1719}}. None publish a standalone gain figure. Injector sizing is about matching fuel delivery to a target power level set by a tuner, not a bolt-on power adder by itself. Going bigger than your tune calls for causes drivability problems, not more power.
5.0L V8 (Coyote)
The naturally aspirated 5.0L has the most fuel system options in the catalog, mostly because it's the platform most people supercharge.
For mild builds or as insurance under a tune, DeatschWerks' in-tank pump ({{part:FUEL-DW-DW400-1520}}) is built specifically for the 5.0L, while its plug-in performance module ({{part:FUEL-DW-DW400MOD-1524}}) actually spans the EcoBoost and V8 lineup, including PowerBoost hybrids, not just the Coyote. JMS and VMP both sell fuel pump voltage boosters, the {{part:FUEL-JMS-P2000PPT09}} and the {{part:FUEL-VMP-ENF021-50}}, which raise pump output by increasing voltage rather than swapping the pump outright.
Once a supercharger is in the picture, most builders move to a full dual pump system. Fore Innovations sells two tiers: the {{part:FUEL-FORE-91621-1820}} (Level 1) and the {{part:FUEL-FORE-91622-1825}} (Level 2, rated by Fore as E85 capable with 900-plus horsepower support). On3 Performance has a similar dual pump return style setup in two versions, the {{part:FUEL-ON3-RF15-1117}} and the {{part:FUEL-ON3-DPRFS-1826}}.
Running a Whipple supercharger specifically? Whipple sells its own fuel rail kit ({{part:FUEL-WHIPPLE-8070055-1820}}) and a matching 55lb injector set ({{part:FUEL-WHIPPLE-8070219-2126}}), and Injector Dynamics has an 8-injector set built specifically for F-150s running a Gen 5 Whipple ({{part:FUEL-ID-1300XDS-W8}}). None of these list a standalone dyno number either. Like everything else in this guide, they're the fuel supply a tune or a blower kit needs to work correctly, not a power adder on their own.
3.0L Power Stroke Diesel
Diesel fuel systems are a different animal. The one part in the catalog here is the {{part:FUEL-FASS-TSF19140F110G-1819-30PS}}, a titanium series lift pump rated at 110 gallons per hour. It replaces a weak factory lift pump, a known failure point on these trucks, rather than adding power directly.
What to skip
Skip anything marketed as a standalone horsepower gain from a fuel pump, injector, or HPFP by itself. None of them are, and the catalog backs that up: every part in this category that publishes a real gain figure is a bundle that includes a tune, and it's the tune doing the work, not the hardware alone.
If the build doesn't include a tune, bigger injectors, E85, or a supercharger, there's a good chance nothing on this list applies yet. Fuel system upgrades are a supporting mod, not a starting point.
