A cold air intake helps the engine draw air in more freely. The Airaid Junior is the small version of that idea: it reuses your factory airbox and only swaps in a high-flow oiled filter and an intake bridge, so nothing large gets replaced.
why this one — At $212.99 this is the cheapest breathing mod on the truck and a genuine 30-minute driveway job. In exchange you get the least of everything: Airaid publishes no horsepower number, you keep the restrictive stock airbox, and the oiled filter has to be cleaned and re-oiled at service time. Coverage is 2019-2023 only, so it will not fit a newer truck.
