Replaces the factory fog lamps with 3-inch LED pods that bolt into the same spot. The kit ships with truck-specific brackets and H11 adapters that plug into your existing fog light sockets, so there is no cutting and no extra wiring. Diode Dynamics offers the same kit in Sport, Pro and Max output levels; this is the middle one.
why this one — The easiest real lighting upgrade on this truck, because it uses the factory fog opening, the factory switch and the factory plug. Choose the Pro over the cheaper Sport if you actually drive dark rural roads; step up to the Max only if you want the brightest and will accept the higher price. The important limitation is in Diode Dynamics' own wording: this is a replacement for OEM fog lamps, so a truck that never had fog lights needs their standalone wiring harness on top.
