A lift pump sits in the fuel tank and pushes diesel forward to the high-pressure injection pump. This one replaces the factory in-tank pump module with a higher-flow unit so the injection pump is always fed more fuel than it needs, instead of having to pull fuel up the line itself.

why this one — This is a drop-in replacement for the factory in-tank module, so unlike an external frame-mounted lift pump kit there is no drilling, no extra fuel lines, and nothing hanging under the truck to catch road debris. Fleece rates it to support up to 800 hp. The honest downside is that a stock or lightly modified truck will never use that headroom, and you still have to drop the fuel tank to install it, which is the part most people underestimate.
