A set of eight direct injection fuel injectors that flow about 71 percent more than the factory units. Like any injector upgrade they add fuel capacity rather than power, so they are there to feed an engine that has already been built or boosted.
why this one — This is the bigger of Katech's two sets, rated to 1,400 wheel horsepower on gasoline or 1,000 on E85 for $700 more than the Stage I. That headroom is real, but most street trucks will never reach even the Stage I ceiling, so only buy up if your power target genuinely demands it. Same 7.5mm stem, so 2021 and newer heads are out, and a supporting tune is required either way.
Katech's own page states these injectors "support up to 1,400 WHP on gasoline and up to 1,000 WHP on E85" and flow "71% greater than factory LT1/L86 injectors" - an injector flow-capacity rating, not a dyno-tested power gain for a stock truck. Realizing any power increase requires forced induction/other supporting mods and a custom tune.
