Headers replace the cast exhaust manifolds bolted to the side of the engine with long, smooth tubes. Exhaust leaves each cylinder with less resistance, which frees up power the manifolds were choking off. These use 1-7/8in primary tubes into a 3in collector and are made from 304 stainless steel.
