A roots style supercharger system that replaces the 5.3L intake manifold with a belt driven blower, pushing more air into the engine than it can pull in on its own.
why this one — This has the widest fitment of the positive displacement kits here, 2019 through 2026, and Magnuson claims 485 horsepower and 524 lb-ft at the crank at 8 psi. It runs about $3,000 under the Edelbrock kit, but that is partly because tuning is not included: you supply an HP Tuners MPVI4, the ECM unlock and the credits to flash it.
Magnuson's own product page states 485 hp / 524 lb-ft at the crank at 8 psi boost - a TOTAL resulting output figure, not an isolated gain-over-stock number, though Magnuson also characterizes it as a "45% increase."
