A front coilover that replaces the factory strut on an older DS-body Ram 1500 and raises the nose up to 2 inches to level it with the rear. It is a monotube design with the gas charge separated from the oil by an internal floating piston, which keeps damping consistent when the shock gets hot.
why this one — This is the DS-body answer in a lane where nearly everything else is built for the newer DT truck. Performance Series is the Fox entry line, so you get the monotube build and the fade resistance without paying for a remote reservoir or an external adjuster you probably would not touch. The honest downside is that it showed out of stock at Fox when this was checked, and Fox does not list it past 2018.
- Drivetrain: 4WD only
- Requires: Fox lists this as Ram 1500 (06-18) 4WD, so it is a DS-body part and does NOT fit a 2019-2024 DT truck. It also does not carry past 2018, which means a 2019 first-gen EcoDiesel DS falls outside the Fox stated range. Listed OUT OF STOCK at Fox on 2026-07-26.
