Requires: 5.7L HEMI only. BBK lists this part across both the DS/Classic and DT bodies, which is unusual for this truck - the throttle body mounts to the engine, not the chassis, so the body split does not apply here.

The throttle body is the valve between your air intake and the engine that opens when you press the pedal. This is a CNC-machined aluminum replacement with an 85mm bore instead of the factory size, so more air can get through at wide open throttle.
why this one — This is the version to buy if you want to keep things simple. BBK holds CARB Executive Order D-245-21 covering it, though read that carefully because the EO applies only to select 2013-2016 model years, not the whole range, so a newer truck is not covered by it. The 85mm also asks less of the factory tuning than the 90mm does. The honest trade is that it claims the smaller gain of the two, 10-12 hp against 12-15, and a throttle body on its own is one of the weaker dollar-per-horsepower buys on this list.
