BBK Performance 90mm Power-Plus Throttle Body (1843)

A larger-bore replacement for the valve that meters air into the engine when you press the pedal. At 90mm this is the biggest bore BBK offers for the HEMI, which lets the engine draw more air at wide open throttle than either the factory unit or the 85mm version.

why this one — Twenty dollars more than the 85mm for a claimed 12-15 hp instead of 10-12, so on paper it is the better buy, and it makes more sense if you already have an intake and exhaust feeding it. The catch is honest and specific: BBK notes that depending on your other modifications a tune is sometimes recommended with this one, so budget for that possibility. The same CARB Executive Order D-245-21 covers it, and the same limitation applies, it reaches only select 2013-2016 model years.
