A handheld tuner bundled with the ECM and TCM unlock a 2019-2022 GM 1500 needs before it will take an aftermarket tune. You plug it into the OBD-II port under the dash, load a tune, and unplug it.
why this one — Same unlock and the same tune coverage as DiabloSport's Trinity 2 EX kit for about $127 less, with a small handheld instead of a dash mounted touchscreen. It is the better value if you plan to flash the truck once and leave the device in the glovebox rather than watch live gauges. Like the Trinity kit it will not work on 2022.5 refresh trucks, and no power figure is published.
