HP Tuners GM E90/E93 ECM Services (unlock/prep for tuning)

GM locks the engine computer on these trucks so it will not accept outside calibrations. This is the service that removes that lock: you pull the ECM, mail it to HP Tuners, and get it back able to be tuned. HP Tuners also sells a pre-unlocked replacement ECM instead of unlocking yours.

why this one — At $299.99 this is the cheapest path to an unlocked ECM, and it is the right one if you plan to tune with HP Tuners software rather than buy a bundled handheld. It is also the most hassle here: the ECM has to come out of the truck, ship both ways, and go back in, and you still need a tuning device and a calibration after that. It is a service, not a tune, so it makes no power on its own.
