A cat-back exhaust replaces the factory pipes, muffler and tips behind the catalytic converter. This is aFe's Vulcan Series system, built from 3-inch stainless tubing with polished tips.
why this one: aFe claims the smallest gain of any cat-back here, +5 hp and +6 lb-ft, so at $1,153 you are paying mostly for sound and stainless construction. One ordering trap: aFe also sells an older MACH Force-Xp cat-back that fits the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD carryover body, which is a different truck, so buy by this Vulcan part number. A black-tip version of the same system exists if polished is not your look.

A cat-back exhaust replaces everything behind the catalytic converter - pipes, muffler and tips - with less restrictive tubing. This is AWE's 0FG system in the split rear-exit layout, so both tailpipes exit behind the rear wheels through the factory bumper cutouts with OE-style tips.
why this one: This is the priciest cat-back in the group at $1,445 and AWE publishes no horsepower number for it, so you are buying fit, finish and a factory-look tip rather than a power figure. AWE sells the same 0FG system under several tip and exit styles from roughly $1,295 to $1,895, so make sure this OE-style version is the look you actually want before you order.

A cat-back exhaust system replaces everything from the catalytic converter back - resonator, muffler, and tailpipes - while leaving the factory manifolds and catalytic converters in place. It is a bolt-on install that mainly changes exhaust sound with a modest, real airflow gain.
why this one: This is Borla's dedicated 6.2L-specific S-Type system (not a shared 5.3L/6.2L part), confirmed on Borla's own site for both 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. Note it is only listed for Extended Cab/Standard Bed and Crew Cab/Short Bed configurations - other cab/bed combos are not confirmed on this SKU.

A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler from the catalytic converter back; this is Corsa's Sport 3.0in dual rear-exit system with factory-style bezels for the 5.3L V8, 147in wheelbase trucks.
why this one: Corsa backs this one with a real dyno claim (+17 hp / +15 lb-ft) rather than just a sound upgrade, and keeps the factory-look bezels instead of aftermarket tips.

A cat-back exhaust system replaces everything from the catalytic converter back - resonator, muffler, and tailpipes - while leaving the factory manifolds and catalytic converters in place. It is a bolt-on install that mainly changes exhaust sound with a modest, real airflow gain.
why this one: Corsa's own site states a specific, real claimed gain (+17 hp/+16 lb-ft) for this exact 6.2L Silverado/Sierra system rather than a vague "improves flow" pitch, and it is sold direct through Corsa's approved affiliate program (Corsa Direct) so a purchase here can actually be tracked.

A cat-back exhaust swaps the factory pipes, muffler and tips behind the catalytic converter for less restrictive tubing. This is Flowmaster's FlowFX system in a dual rear-exit layout, with both tailpipes exiting behind the rear wheels.
why this one: Cheapest cat-back here at $949.95 and the only one claiming a double-digit gain at both ends, +21 hp and +26 lb-ft. That figure is Flowmaster's own published number rather than an independent test, and it was found on a reseller listing instead of Flowmaster's page, so read it as a best case and not what your truck will make.

A cat-back exhaust replaces the factory pipes, muffler and tips from the catalytic converter back. This is Gibson's Dual Extreme system in stainless steel, covering 2019-2025 5.3L trucks.
why this one: Gibson is the only one here that tells you where its claimed gains land: +10-15 hp and +15-20 lb-ft, optimized for 1,800-3,000 RPM, which is the range you tow and pull away from a light in. It is still a manufacturer claim rather than an independent dyno, and the $1,044 price was a sale off a $1,743 list, so confirm current pricing before you count on it.

why this one: The cheapest real bolt-on for this engine's charge-air path and explicitly confirmed to cover the 2022+ TurboMax/High-Output revision as well as the 2019-2021 first-gen engine - a good standalone starting mod or a complement to the aFe charge pipe kit.

This is a flex fuel conversion kit. It adds an ethanol content sensor to the fuel line and a controller that plugs into the factory harness, so the truck reads how much ethanol is in the tank and adjusts fueling on its own. That lets you run E85, gasoline, or any mix of the two.
why this one: No tune, no injector swap and no pump swap, and the module stays invisible to scan tools, so this is the simplest way onto E85. The retailer listing for this part claims 40 to 45 wheel horsepower on E85. The catch is obvious: you get nothing out of it unless E85 is actually sold where you live.

A flex-fuel system adds a sensor and controller that let the factory ECU safely recognize and adapt to ethanol-blended fuel (like E85) instead of just gasoline.
why this one: This shared 5.3L/6.2L SKU works for either engine on the 2014-2018 truck, both makes confirmed by name in the product title. FITMENT AMBIGUITY FLAGGED: AFD's own page states fitment as "2014-19" without breaking it out by engine or by trim; since the 6.2L engine was never offered on the 2019 Silverado 1500 LD / Sierra Limited K2XX carryover (per this catalog's own vehicles table, that trim is 5.3L L83-only), the "19" portion of AFD's stated range is treated here as unverified for the 6.2L specifically and this row is scoped conservatively to 2014-2018 only.

A set of eight direct injection fuel injectors that flow about 71 percent more than the factory units. Like any injector upgrade they add fuel capacity rather than power, so they are there to feed an engine that has already been built or boosted.
why this one: This is the bigger of Katech's two sets, rated to 1,400 wheel horsepower on gasoline or 1,000 on E85 for $700 more than the Stage I. That headroom is real, but most street trucks will never reach even the Stage I ceiling, so only buy up if your power target genuinely demands it. Same 7.5mm stem, so 2021 and newer heads are out, and a supporting tune is required either way.

A set of eight direct injection fuel injectors that replace the factory ones and flow about 45 percent more than stock. They do not make power on their own. They give the fuel system enough capacity to feed an engine that is already making more power than stock.
why this one: Katech rates this set to support up to 1,200 wheel horsepower on gasoline or 900 on E85, which covers most boosted 5.3L and 6.2L builds without stepping up to the Stage II set. It only makes sense alongside a supercharger or a built engine plus a supporting tune, and it is a deep teardown job on a Gen V engine. The 7.5mm stems will not fit 2021 and newer heads.

This is American Racing Headers' full long-tube system in 304 stainless with 1-3/4 inch primary tubes, a 3-inch merge collector and a catted Y-pipe, so the catalytic converters stay in the system.
why this one: ARH sells this same long system in two tube sizes at nearly the same price, and this is the smaller 1-3/4 inch version. ARH publishes no horsepower figure for either, and a long-tube swap is an 8-plus hour job most people hand to a shop and follow with a tune. why this one: This is the larger-tube version of ARH's long system and it costs about $35 more than the 1-3/4 inch kit, which makes tube size the real decision rather than price. Headers replace the cast-iron exhaust manifolds with tubular pipes. These are shorty headers, meaning they stay about the size of the stock manifolds and bolt back to the factory Y-pipe, built by BBK with 1-3/4 inch mandrel-bent tubing and a titanium ceramic coating.
why this one: At $569.99 this is by far the cheapest way into headers on this truck, and because shorties reuse the factory Y-pipe the install is shorter than a long-tube system, though still a 5 to 7 hour job. BBK's "up to 14 hp" is marketing copy with no dyno chart behind it. Retailers also disagree on whether coverage ends in 2022, 2023 or 2024, so check your year before ordering.

why this one: At $3,776 this is the most expensive part in this group and Kooks publishes no power figure for it, so it is a buy-the-brand decision. Budget for a shop, 8-plus hours and a tune on top of the part price. A complete replacement headlight assembly that swaps the factory halogen units for full LED projectors, with a horizontal plank-style LED bar for the daytime running light and a turn signal that lights up in sequence rather than all at once. The initiation feature runs a short light animation when the truck is unlocked or started.
why this one: This is the styling-first choice for a 2019-2021 truck, and at $1,079 you are paying for the plank look and the startup animation as much as for LED output. It only fits trucks that came with halogen headlights, and ANZO does not list it for the Trail Boss, so check what your truck actually left the factory with before ordering.

This is not a replacement headlight. It is a color-changing LED strip that installs inside the factory headlight housing so the daytime running light can display colors other than white. This base version ships without a controller, so the controller that actually changes the color is a separate purchase.
why this one: At $299.50 it is the cheapest way to change the look of the front end without buying whole headlight assemblies, but it is by far the hardest install in this category: the housings have to be opened and resealed, and ORACLE recommends professional installation. It needs factory LED daytime running lights to start with, does not fit the High Country, and the controller adds real money on top.

The same Recon projector headlight with OLED halo rings and OLED daytime running lights, in a smoked lens with a black interior. It replaces the factory halogen reflector headlights completely.
why this one: This is the blacked-out version of the clear and chrome Recon headlight, at the same $1,349.95 and the same fitment, so the choice between them is purely appearance. At that price it is worth being sure about the fitment first: 2019-2021 only, and only trucks that came with factory halogen headlights.

A full replacement headlight assembly with projector low beams plus OLED halo rings and an OLED daytime running light, finished with a clear lens and chrome interior. It replaces the factory halogen reflector headlights completely.
why this one: Recon uses OLED panels for the halo and running light rather than the usual LED strips, and this is the clear and chrome version for a truck you want to keep bright up front instead of blacked out. Price and fitment match the smoked version exactly, so the only real decision is finish, and both are for 2019-2021 trucks with factory halogen headlights.

A replacement projector headlight assembly with a black housing and LED turn signals that light up in sequence rather than all at once. It bolts in where the factory headlights come out.
why this one: At $459.21 this is roughly a third of what the ANZO or Recon assemblies cost, which makes it the budget entry if you want the projector and sequential signal look without spending four figures. The honest catch is that the listing does not state DOT or SAE compliance, so confirm that first if street legality matters where you live.

The same Spyder projector headlight with sequential LED turn signals, built with a chrome housing instead of black. It bolts in where the factory headlights come out.
why this one: Go chrome if your truck still wears chrome bumpers and grille trim and you want the headlights to match rather than contrast. Price, fitment and install are identical to the black version, and so is the caveat: the listing does not state DOT or SAE compliance.

A replacement headlight assembly with sequential LED turn signals in a matte black housing with a clear lens, made to replace the factory halogen headlights.
why this one: The reason to know about this one is the 2022 coverage. A 2022 truck badged Silverado 1500 LTD is the older pre-refresh body, so headlights made for the refreshed 2022 truck will not fit it, and this SKU is listed for it. At $499.99 it sits just above the Spyder pair and well under the ANZO and Recon assemblies. Winjet states outright it will not work on trucks with factory LED headlights.

A cold air intake replaces the factory airbox, tubing and filter. This is aFe's Momentum GT kit fitted with the Pro 5R filter, an oiled filter that gets cleaned and re-oiled at service time.
why this one: aFe claims up to 10 hp and 16 lb-ft from its own dyno, a mid-pack number honestly stated. The thing to check before you buy is fitment: the retailer's own page says 2019-2021 while other sources claimed coverage through 2026, and that conflict was never resolved, so verify against your year. Also note the Pro 5R needs re-oiling, unlike Injen's dry filter at a similar price.

A cold air intake replaces the factory airbox and intake tube with a less-restrictive design and larger reusable filter, pulling in cooler outside air instead of hot underhood air.
why this one: One SKU covers both the 5.3L and 6.2L on the 2014-2018 truck with a real, specific claimed gain (+12 hp/+15 lb-ft) rather than a vague airflow pitch. FITMENT AMBIGUITY FLAGGED: an Amazon listing for this same part number bundles in "Silverado LD/Sierra Limited 2019 V8-5.3/6.2L," but aFe's own retailer page scopes this SKU to 2014-2018 only and does not mention the 2019 LD/Limited carryover; the 6.2L engine was never offered on the LD/Limited carryover trim per this catalog's own vehicles table (LD/Limited is 5.3L L83-only), so the Amazon title's "6.2L" + "LD/Limited" combination looks like listing imprecision, not confirmed fitment. Scoped this row to the unambiguous 2014-2018 range only - do not extend to 2019 LD/Limited without a source that confirms it engine-by-engine.
