pairs with: A lift kit and 35in tires
requires: New body (DT), 2019-2023. Talons Garage confirms fitment on the 5.7L V8 with 4x4; other engines and 2WD were NOT confirmed and are deliberately not claimed here. Talons Garage warns it may not be compatible with lift kits that require subframe modifications. Made to order, 1-2 week processing.
number source
Three bolt-on aluminium plates that shield the engine sump, the transmission and catalytic converter, and the transfer case from rocks and stumps. They are cut from quarter-inch 5052 aluminium and ship as bare metal rather than painted.
why this one: Aluminium instead of steel is the whole argument here: quarter-inch 5052 takes a hit and keeps its shape without hanging steel-plate weight off the front of a half-ton truck that already carries a lot of nose weight. Buying the three-piece package rather than the engine skid alone matters on this truck because the transfer case is the part people actually tear open. Be realistic about the downsides: it ships bare so it will oxidise unless you coat it, it is made to order with a 1 to 2 week wait, and Talons Garage only confirms the fit on 5.7L 4x4 trucks.

pairs with: Intake, Throttle Body
requires: MUST HAVE FACTORY DUAL TAILPIPES. Flowmaster states it does not fit trucks with a factory single tailpipe, and does not fit the Classic body at all.
number source
An axle-back replaces only the last section of exhaust, behind the rear axle: the tailpipes and tips. It is the shortest, cheapest way to change how the truck sounds without touching the muffler or anything under the middle of the truck.
why this one: This is the entry point for exhaust on this truck at under 500 dollars, roughly a third of what the cat-back systems here cost, and it is the only axle-back in the lane. You get 2.50in tailpipes in place of the factory 2.25in and dual 4.50in black ceramic-coated tips, and Flowmaster rates the sound Moderate, so it is a step up from stock rather than a truck that announces itself. Check your tailpipes first: Flowmaster is explicit that it will not fit a truck with a single factory tailpipe, and it will not fit a Classic.

pairs with: A light bar to fill the stinger bar light mount
requires: New body (DT), 2019-2024, 2WD and 4WD. Rough Country states it does NOT fit Rebel, does NOT fit models with adaptive cruise control, does NOT fit models with an active air dam, and does NOT fit EcoDiesel models. Factory proximity sensors are retained. NO winch plate is included - winch and LED lights are sold separately.
number source
A tubular steel front bumper that replaces the plastic factory unit, with a skid plate underneath, recovery D-rings, and a stinger bar across the front that doubles as a light mount.
why this one: Buy this for recovery points and front-end protection, not for winching, because Rough Country does not include a winch plate. It keeps the factory proximity sensors working, which a lot of cheap tubular bumpers do not. The exclusion list is the thing to read twice: no Rebel, no adaptive cruise control, no active air dam and no EcoDiesel, and between them those cover a large share of DT trucks on the road. Check your own truck against all four before ordering.

A cat-back exhaust replaces everything from the catalytic converter back - the pipes, the muffler and the tips. This is Borla's loudest street tune, ATAK, with a single split rear exit and 5in rolled angle-cut tips.
why this one: ATAK is Borla's most aggressive sound level, but it still uses their no-drone design so it stays quiet at highway cruise. Pick this one if you want the truck to be heard.

A cat-back exhaust replaces the pipes, muffler and tips behind the catalytic converter. This is Borla's mid-level S-Type sound with tips that exit through the rear bumper.
why this one: S-Type is the classic Borla V8 growl - louder than stock, but a step below ATAK, and Borla designs it not to drone on the highway. This is the one that fits the OLD body, including trucks sold new as "Ram 1500 Classic".

A cat-back exhaust for the V6 Ram. This one converts the factory single exhaust outlet into a dual outlet with black chrome tips that exit under the bumper.
why this one: Most exhaust choices for the Ram 1500 are V8-only. This is a genuine V6 fitment, and it changes the look as well as the sound by turning one exhaust outlet into two.

A cat-back exhaust built for the new turbocharged six-cylinder Ram, stepping from 3.0in down to 2.5in piping and exiting out the back on both sides with 5.0in tips.
why this one: One of the first real exhausts available for the Hurricane engine, and Corsa quantifies it properly: +37% flow, 15 dB over stock, 10 lbs lighter. Read the fitment carefully though - it fits the Standard Output engine only, not the High Output.
heads up

pairs with: Intake, Throttle Body, Tune
requires: New body style only per Corsa. Corsa lists specific cab and wheelbase combinations - see notes.
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the pipes, muffler and tips behind the catalytic converter. This one exits out the side in front of the rear wheel instead of out the back, with twin 4.0in tips.
why this one: The side exit is the reason to choose this over the rear-exit Corsa. It puts the tips where you can see them and keeps them clear of a bumper-mounted hitch and trailer, which matters if you tow. Corsa's Sport sound level and their reflective sound cancellation mean it will not drone at highway speed. Two honest points: it costs about 220 dollars more than Corsa's Classic-body system for a similar package, and side exit is a look you either want or you do not.

requires: Requires factory dual exhaust. New body (DT) only.
number source
A cat-back exhaust that replaces everything behind the catalytic converter with 2.50in mandrel-bent 409 stainless tubing, a Superflow chambered muffler and a 5in polished tip. It bolts to the factory hangers, so no welding.
why this one: This is the only exhaust in the lane that publishes actual numbers, 10-15 hp and 15-20 lb-ft, and more usefully it tells you where they land: 1,800 to 3,000 rpm, which is exactly where a truck lives when it is loaded or pulling away from a light. Compare that with the Corsa and Borla systems, which publish no figure at all. The honest trade is the material. Gibson uses 409 stainless for the tubing with T304 only at the tip, where Corsa and Borla use T304 throughout, so this will show surface rust sooner in a salted climate.

pairs with: Intake, Throttle Body
requires: Old body (DS) only. Gibson sells 66570 for the 2019-2024 new-body truck; the two are not interchangeable.
number source
A cat-back exhaust for the older-body HEMI truck. It swaps the pipes, muffler and tip behind the catalytic converter for 2.50in mandrel-bent 409 stainless tubing, a Superflow chambered muffler and a 4in polished tip, using the factory hangers.
why this one: If you have the 2009-2018 truck this is the correct Gibson, and buying the newer 66570 by mistake is an expensive error. Same published numbers as the new-body kit, 10-15 hp and 15-20 lb-ft down in the 1,800-3,000 rpm range where a working truck spends its time, and it comes in about 220 dollars under the new-body system. The trades are the same too: 409 stainless tubing rather than T304 throughout, so expect surface rust sooner if you live where roads get salted, and the tip here is 4in rather than the 5in on the newer kit.

pairs with: Intake, Throttle Control
requires: 3.6L V6 only. See notes - MagnaFlow lists this through 2026 but our engine vocabulary supports only the 2019-2023 DT V6.
number source
A cat-back exhaust for the V6 truck, replacing the pipes, muffler and tips behind the catalytic converter with 2.5in mandrel-bent tubing, a straight-through muffler and two 5in polished tips.
why this one: Almost every exhaust for this truck is written for the V8, so the V6 owner has maybe three real choices, and this is the cheapest of them by a wide margin at about 545 dollars less than the Borla V6 system. MagnaFlow rates it Aggressive outside and Moderate inside, which is the combination most people actually want in a daily driven truck. The trade against the Borla is that this keeps your factory single-outlet layout with dual tips rather than converting the truck to a true dual outlet, so it is more sound than looks.

6.2L Supercharged HEMI V8 (Hellcat)

$3,455
buy at MagnaFlow Directinstall
3-4 hours (estimate, not a manufacturer figure)
pairs with: Intake, Tune
requires: TRX only - the 6.2L supercharged Hellcat engine. MagnaFlow listed this as out of stock when checked on 2026-07-26.
number source
A cat-back exhaust for the TRX where the middle section is a swappable module. Three modules come in the kit and each changes the sound, from a noise-cancelling section for quiet highway driving through a standard muffler to a straight-pipe section, and they clamp in and out with v-band clamps.
why this one: The TRX has had no exhaust in this catalog at all until now, and this is the one that solves the real problem with a 702 hp truck, which is that the sound you want on an empty road is not the sound you want on a four-hour drive. Swapping modules takes clamps, not a shop visit. Two things to know before you commit: at 3,455 dollars it is the most expensive exhaust in this lane by a long way, and MagnaFlow showed it out of stock when we checked.

requires: New body (DT) 5.7L only - J&L states it excludes Ram 1500 Classic and Warlock. Also listed for the 2022-2024 Jeep Wagoneer 5.7L. J&L states this part is NOT CARB EXEMPT and is not legal for sale or use in California or in states that have adopted California emission standards. Confirm your own state rules before buying; nothing here is legal advice.
number source
A small canister that plumbs into the crankcase ventilation line and catches the oil mist the engine would otherwise breathe back in. Inside, a stainless mesh screen and an aluminium honeycomb pull the oil out of the vapour and drop it into a 3 ounce tank you empty at oil changes.
why this one: On a modern HEMI that oil mist ends up as carbon on the intake valves and as fuel-diluting residue in the manifold, and a separator is the cheapest way to stop feeding it back in. Compared with everything else in this lane it is the least visible money you can spend, which is exactly the point. Two honest caveats: you have to actually remember to drain the 3 ounce tank, and J&L itself states the part is not CARB exempt, so it is not sold or used legally in California or the states that follow California emission rules.
Headers
install
8-12 hours (estimate, not a manufacturer figure)
pairs with: Cat-Back, Tune
requires: Requires a Kooks Y-pipe, sold separately. Kooks states these headers do not connect directly to the OEM exhaust.
number source
Headers replace the cast exhaust manifolds bolted to the side of the engine with long, smooth tubes. Exhaust leaves each cylinder with less resistance, which frees up power the manifolds were choking off. These use 1-7/8in primary tubes into a 3in collector and are made from 304 stainless steel.
why this one: The 1-7/8in primary is the large-tube option, so it favors power higher in the rev range and suits a truck that already has an intake and a tune rather than a stock one. Be honest with yourself about the cost before you commit: Kooks states these do not connect to the factory exhaust, so a Kooks Y-pipe is a required extra purchase, they are built to order with a 4-6 week lead time, and this is a full-day job on a lift.
install
10-14 hours (estimate, not a manufacturer figure)
pairs with: Cat-Back, Tune
requires: New body (DT) only. eTorque compatibility is not stated on the Kooks page and is therefore not encoded here.
number source
This is the complete front half of an exhaust system: long tube headers to replace the factory manifolds, plus the Y-pipe that carries both banks back into one pipe. The Y-pipe in this kit keeps catalytic converters in place rather than leaving you to source them separately.
why this one: Buy this one instead of bare headers if you do not want a second parts order and a second trip to the shop, because the matching Y-pipe is already in the box and the catalytic converters stay in the system. The downsides are the price, which is roughly two and a half times the bare header kit, and a 4-6 week build-to-order wait. Kooks publishes no CARB EO number for it, and their own page carries California language restricting aftermarket exhaust parts to racing vehicles on closed courses, so check what your state requires before you buy.
install
8-12 hours (estimate, not a manufacturer figure)
pairs with: Cat-Back, Tune
requires: New body (DT) only. eTorque compatibility is not stated on the Kooks page and is therefore not encoded here.
number source
Long tube headers with stepped primary tubes that start at 1-5/8in and open to 1-3/4in before feeding a 3in collector. The stepped, smaller-diameter design is aimed at exhaust speed low in the rev range rather than peak flow at high rpm.
why this one: This is the header set to pick if the truck is mostly a truck. Smaller primaries keep exhaust gas moving faster at the rpm you actually tow and merge at, which is what Kooks means by Torque Series, whereas the 1-7/8in kit trades that away for top-end. The honest catch is that it is headers only, so a Y-pipe is still a separate purchase, and it is still built to order with a 4-6 week wait.

requires: New body (DT) only. AlphaRex states it does NOT fit the 2019-2024 Ram 1500 Classic, and does NOT fit Limited, Limited Longhorn or TRX trims. Trucks with FACTORY HALOGEN headlights are plug and play; trucks with FACTORY LED headlights need an optional converter (listed at +$55.00, not included in the price here). AlphaRex states the projection meets DOT/SAE requirements.
number source
A full replacement headlight housing with LED projectors inside, so you get a focused beam with a clean cutoff instead of the scattered light you get from dropping LED bulbs into a housing built for halogens. The daytime running light and turn signal are built into the housing.
why this one: The reason to buy a housing rather than bulbs is beam control: a projector puts light on the road and keeps it out of oncoming drivers eyes, and AlphaRex states these meet DOT and SAE requirements, which bulb conversions generally cannot. The honest downsides are price, this is the most expensive single part in this lane, and narrow trim coverage: no Classic, no Limited, no Limited Longhorn, no TRX, and factory-LED trucks need a converter that costs extra.

why this one: The dry filter removes the most common DIY mistake - over-oiling a cotton filter and fouling the mass-airflow sensor. It gives up a little to the oiled Pro 5R version (+19/+34 vs +23/+42 on aFe's dyno) in exchange for much easier maintenance.

number source
A cold air intake that swaps the factory airbox for a one-piece molded box and a washable synthetic filter, feeding the engine through a smoother, less restrictive tube. It is the cheapest way on this list to change how the truck breathes and sounds.
why this one: Airaid is the only intake here that publishes an actual number with a dyno chart behind it, about 10.3 hp at 5700 rpm, where most intake makers only quote airflow percentages. The DRYFLOW filter is also washable and never needs oiling, which removes the most common way people damage a mass airflow sensor. Two things to weigh: Airaid states it is not legal for sale or use in California on pollution-controlled vehicles, and their own page says custom ECU tuning is needed to get the most out of it, so the 10.3 hp is a best case rather than a bolt-on-and-forget figure.

number source
A cold air intake replaces the factory airbox and filter with a bigger filter in a sealed housing that draws cooler air from outside the engine bay. The sealed box matters more on a diesel than the noise does, because the filter is what stands between road dust and a very expensive turbocharger.
why this one: The EcoDiesel has been badly served in this catalog and this is the intake actually built for it rather than a HEMI part with a diesel label. S&B quotes 99.36% filtration efficiency alongside the airflow gain, which is the number that matters on a turbo diesel. Two real limits before you order: S&B publishes no horsepower claim for it at all, only airflow, and S&B states the part cannot be shipped to California and is not street legal in all states.

requires: First-gen EcoDiesel in the DS body. S&B states this item cannot be shipped to California.
number source
A sealed airbox and oversized filter that replace the factory intake on the first-generation EcoDiesel, pulling cooler outside air through an intake scoop instead of hot air off the engine.
why this one: This is the correct intake for the older EcoDiesel, and getting that right matters because the 2014-2019 truck and the 2020-2023 truck take different kits that look similar in a search. S&B quotes the highest filtration efficiency of their two EcoDiesel intakes here, 99.51% to 99.57%, which is the specification worth caring about when the filter is protecting a turbo. Same honest limits as the newer kit: no published horsepower figure, and S&B says it cannot ship to California and is not street legal in all states.

pairs with: A front bumper or skid plate build
requires: RAM 1500 REBEL TRIM ONLY, new body (DT), 2019-2024. Baja Designs warns the kit WILL INTERFERE with the factory intercooler and active grille flaps on the Ram Rebel 1500 3.0L turbo diesel, so EcoDiesel Rebels are excluded here. A WIRING HARNESS IS NOT INCLUDED per the Baja Designs spec table and must be bought separately.
number source
A 20 inch LED bar with brackets shaped specifically for the Rebel front bumper, so it sits in the bumper opening rather than being strapped to the roof or the bull bar. Baja Designs rates it at 12,700 raw lumens on a driving/combo pattern, which throws light down the road and spreads it to the sides at the same time.
why this one: This is the premium end of the light bar category and the money buys optics and durability rather than raw numbers, plus brackets cut for one specific truck so nothing is improvised. Two things to be honest about: it is Rebel-only, so if you have a Big Horn or a Laramie this is not your part, and Baja Designs does not include a wiring harness, which is a real extra cost on top of an already expensive kit. The Diode Dynamics Stealth kit in this catalog is roughly half the price, includes its harness, and fits the non-Rebel trucks this one does not.

pairs with: A front skid plate or winch bumper build
requires: New body (DT), 2019-2024. Diode Dynamics states it is NOT compatible with TRX or Rebel trims, or with models fitted with lower active shutters. EcoDiesel is excluded here as a precaution because DT EcoDiesel trucks commonly carry active grille shutters and Diode Dynamics did not call that case out either way. Installation needs the cover behind the vented grille removed, but NO DRILLING.
number source
An 18 inch LED bar that mounts behind the lower grille opening so it is hidden until it is switched on. The kit is complete: bar, brackets cut for this bumper, and the wiring harness are all in the box.
why this one: This is the practical light bar pick for an ordinary DT Ram 1500. It costs a bit over half what the Baja Designs Rebel kit costs, it includes the harness that Baja leaves out, and it fits the Big Horn and Laramie trucks the Rebel kit does not. You give up some output and some optical quality to get there, and it inherits the opposite exclusion list: no Rebel, no TRX, and no truck with the lower active shutters. Amber is offered if you drive in dust or snow, where white bounces back at you.

pairs with: Cat-Back, Headers
requires: NON-eTORQUE ONLY. Whipple explicitly states this system is not compatible with the eTorque engine option. New body (DT) only.
number source
A supercharger is a belt-driven air pump bolted to the engine that forces in more air than the engine could pull on its own, which is the single biggest power increase you can bolt to a 5.7L HEMI. This is Whipple's twin-screw unit with an intercooler, larger fuel injectors and the tuning software included.
why this one: This is the one that is actually road legal in every state: Whipple publishes CARB Executive Orders D-231-145 and D-231-115 for it, which is a specific certification number rather than a vague compliance claim. Pick it over the eTorque kit only if your truck does NOT have eTorque, because Whipple says flatly that this kit will not work on one. The honest downsides are the price, a full day or more of skilled labor, and the fact that a supercharger makes the whole rest of the drivetrain the next weak link.

requires: eTORQUE TRUCKS ONLY. This kit includes the relocation and bracket hardware that the eTorque belt-driven motor generator requires; the non-eTorque kit WK-3304-30 will not work on an eTorque truck.
number source
A belt-driven supercharger that forces extra air into the 5.7L HEMI for a large power increase. This version is built around the eTorque hybrid setup, so it comes with the extra brackets and relocation hardware needed to keep that system working.
why this one: If your 5.7L has eTorque, this is the kit, not the cheaper non-eTorque one, and Whipple is explicit that the two are not interchangeable. It carries its own CARB Executive Order, D-231-152, so the certification is a specific number you can look up. Whipple also quotes a higher figure here, up to 220 rwhp against 180 for the non-eTorque kit, though that is their own dyno on 93 octane and not an independent test. Same real costs as any supercharger: roughly 150 dollars more than the other kit, a long professional install, and premium fuel from then on.

pairs with: Rear coil spacer to match the new front height
requires: New body (DT) only. Sold as a front pair. Lift range 0 to 2.6in, set by snap-ring groove. Retailer describes it as levelling the truck using the FACTORY COIL SPRINGS, so this is a coil-spring truck part; the listing did not state whether factory air suspension trucks are excluded and that was NOT verified this pass.
number source
A pair of front struts that replace the factory units and let you pick your own front ride height, anywhere from stock up to about 2.6 inches, by moving a snap ring into a different groove before you install them.
why this one: Unlike a spacer, this actually replaces the damper, so you get a firmer monotube shock and the lift in one part instead of stacking a spacer on tired factory struts. It is also the cheapest way to get adjustable height on a DT. The catch is that a strut is a strut: at 2.6 inches you are running the front suspension near the top of its travel with stock upper control arms, so a taller setting really wants arms added later.

requires: 4WD Crew Cab. Eibach publishes front lift 0 to 3.2in on 4WD Crew Cab and 0 to 2.2in on Rebel 4WD, with 1.0in rear (0.3in on Rebel). New body (DT). A separate part number E86-27-011-01-22 covers 2WD. Air suspension compatibility was NOT stated on the Eibach release page and is NOT verified.
number source
A matched front and rear kit: adjustable-height front shocks that give up to about 3.2 inches, plus real rear lift springs rather than spacers, so both ends are raised by parts designed to work together.
why this one: The reason to spend here instead of on a spacer kit is that Eibach engineers the spring rate and the damping as a set, so the truck still rides like a truck at height rather than getting bouncy. Compared to the Rough Country 6 inch kit it lifts far less but keeps the factory geometry and does not force you into 20 inch wheels. Downsides: this specific part number is 4WD Crew Cab only, and Eibach did not publish an air-suspension answer, so air-ride owners should confirm before buying.

pairs with: Rear coil spacer to match the new front height
requires: Fox lists this as Ram 1500 (06-18) 4WD, so it is a DS-body part and does NOT fit a 2019-2024 DT truck. It also does not carry past 2018, which means a 2019 first-gen EcoDiesel DS falls outside the Fox stated range. Listed OUT OF STOCK at Fox on 2026-07-26.
number source
A front coilover that replaces the factory strut on an older DS-body Ram 1500 and raises the nose up to 2 inches to level it with the rear. It is a monotube design with the gas charge separated from the oil by an internal floating piston, which keeps damping consistent when the shock gets hot.
why this one: This is the DS-body answer in a lane where nearly everything else is built for the newer DT truck. Performance Series is the Fox entry line, so you get the monotube build and the fade resistance without paying for a remote reservoir or an external adjuster you probably would not touch. The honest downside is that it showed out of stock at Fox when this was checked, and Fox does not list it past 2018.

requires: Requires factory four-corner air suspension. 4WD only. ReadyLift states it will not fit TRX, will not fit trucks equipped with springs and struts, and will not fit EcoDiesel applications. New body (DT) only, not the Ram 1500 Classic.
number source
A front leveling kit for DT-body Ram 1500 trucks that left the factory with the four-corner air suspension. Steel strut extensions raise the front about 1.5 inches, and the kit includes tubular upper control arms so the front end still points where it should at the taller ride height.
why this one: Pick this only if your truck actually has the factory air suspension, because an ordinary coil-spring leveling kit physically will not work on one. ReadyLift bundles the upper control arms instead of selling them separately, which is the part that keeps ball joint angles reasonable once the front is up. The honest downsides: 4WD only, ReadyLift excludes TRX and EcoDiesel trucks, and it costs several times what a plain coil spacer costs.

New body (DT) only. Max tire 35x12.50 on a 20x9 zero offset wheel per ReadyLift.
number source
A 3.5 inch front and 2 inch rear lift for coil-sprung DT Ram 1500s. It works by stacking billet top hats and preload spacers on the front struts and coil spacers at the rear, and it comes with tubular upper control arms and rear bump stop pads so the suspension still travels properly.
why this one: This is the middle ground between a cheap spacer and a full replacement-shock kit: you get real lift and the corrected control arms, but you keep your factory struts and shocks, so ride quality stays roughly stock rather than improving. Choose it if 35s are the goal and you do not want to spend lift-kit money on new dampers. Note it is the exact opposite of the ReadyLift 66-19150 above, that one is air-suspension only and this one specifically is not.

number source
A 2 inch spacer that sits on top of the rear coil springs to raise the back of the truck. The Ram 1500 is the only half-ton with coil springs at the rear instead of leaf springs, so this is the rear-lift part that actually applies to this truck.
why this one: Most half-ton rear lift parts are leaf spring blocks or add-a-leafs and none of them fit a Ram 1500. This is the cheap, correct answer when you have already lifted the front and the back now sits low, or when you want a level 2 inch rise all round. Two honest caveats: it does nothing for ride quality because you keep the stock springs and shocks, and the listed install is around four hours because the rear coils have to come out.

number source
A full 6 inch lift that replaces the front knuckles and control-arm geometry and adds application-specific dual-rate rear coil springs, rather than just spacing the factory parts apart. It is the kit you buy when you want the truck to look lifted, not levelled.
why this one: This is the big-lift option in this lane and the only one here that swaps the rear coil springs instead of spacing them, which is why it rides better at 6 inches than a spacer stack would. Be clear-eyed about the cost of entry though: 4WD only, no air-suspension trucks, no Classic, and your 18 inch wheels will not fit over the new front hardware, so a wheel and tire purchase is effectively part of the price.

AlphaRex states it is NOT compatible with factory LED tail lights that have blind spot sensors. AlphaRex states the lights meet or exceed SAE and DOT FMVSS108.
number source
A pair of replacement tail light housings with LED light bars in place of the factory bulbs, giving a brighter and faster-reacting brake light along with a distinct lit signature at night.
why this one: Tail lights are the cheap half of a lighting refresh, and at $595 this is well under half what the matching NOVA headlights cost, so it is the sensible place to start if you only want to do one end. The thing to check before you buy is which tail lights your truck already has: halogen trucks plug straight in, factory-LED trucks need a converter, and factory-LED trucks with blind spot sensors are simply not supported. That last exclusion rules out a lot of higher-trim DT trucks.

requires: 5.7L HEMI only. BBK lists this part across both the DS/Classic and DT bodies, which is unusual for this truck - the throttle body mounts to the engine, not the chassis, so the body split does not apply here.
number source
The throttle body is the valve between your air intake and the engine that opens when you press the pedal. This is a CNC-machined aluminum replacement with an 85mm bore instead of the factory size, so more air can get through at wide open throttle.
why this one: This is the version to buy if you want to keep things simple. BBK holds CARB Executive Order D-245-21 covering it, though read that carefully because the EO applies only to select 2013-2016 model years, not the whole range, so a newer truck is not covered by it. The 85mm also asks less of the factory tuning than the 90mm does. The honest trade is that it claims the smaller gain of the two, 10-12 hp against 12-15, and a throttle body on its own is one of the weaker dollar-per-horsepower buys on this list.
