Armor & Skid Plates

Armor & Skid Plates · 2018-2025
Rough Country M210 Front Differential Skid Plate
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6 · 2.0L Turbo I4 · 3.0L EcoDiesel V6
estimate pending research
install
n/a
pairs with: Wheel, Tire
number source
A steel plate that bolts over the front differential housing to stop rocks and trail obstacles from denting the diff cover or the housing itself.
why this one: Rubicon-only, because only the Rubicon gets the M210 front axle - check your axle before ordering.
Armor & Skid Plates · 2018-2023
Rough Country M186 Front Differential Skid Plate
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6 · 2.0L Turbo I4 · 3.0L EcoDiesel V6

install
n/a
pairs with: Wheel, Tire
number source
A steel plate that bolts over the front differential to protect it from rock strikes. This is the version for the M186 axle used on non-Rubicon JLs.
why this one: The non-Rubicon counterpart to the M210 skid - ten dollars cheaper and the right one for a Sport or Sahara.
Armor & Skid Plates · 2018-2024
Rough Country M220 Rear Differential Skid Plate
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6 · 2.0L Turbo I4 · 3.0L EcoDiesel V6
estimate pending research
install
n/a
pairs with: Wheel, Tire
number source
A steel plate for the REAR differential, which is the one that most often takes a hit backing off an obstacle.
why this one: Most people armor the front diff and forget the rear - on a Rubicon the rear M220 is just as exposed.
Armor & Skid Plates · 2018-2026
Rough Country Muffler Skid Plate
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6 · 2.0L Turbo I4 · 3.0L EcoDiesel V6
estimate pending research
install
n/a
pairs with: Cat-Back
number source
A steel guard that bolts under the muffler, which on a JL hangs low enough to be one of the first things to hit on an obstacle.
why this one: If you are lifting the Jeep and running bigger tires you are also going faster over rocks - the factory muffler is the usual first casualty.

Cat-Back

Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, Touring Sound, 2-Door for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6)
Cat-Back · 2018-2026
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, Touring Sound, 2-Door
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6

n/a
pairs with: Intake
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. Borla Climber routing is tucked high for trail clearance, and this is their quietest Touring sound level.
why this one: Touring is the mildest tone Borla makes - the right pick if you want a better note without drone on a long highway drive with the top off.
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, 2-Door for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6)

n/a
pairs with: Intake
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. Climber routing, tucked high for trail clearance, for the 2-door JL.
why this one: Five dollars more than the 140846 and a different sound tuning - compare the two on Borla sound level before choosing.
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, 4-Door Unlimited for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6)
Cat-Back · 2018-2026
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, 4-Door Unlimited
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6

n/a
pairs with: Intake
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. Climber high-clearance routing, cut for the longer 4-door Unlimited body.
why this one: The 2-door and 4-door Wranglers take different length systems - this is the 4-door part, and the 2-door version will not fit.

n/a
pairs with: Intake
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. Climber high-clearance routing for the 4-door Unlimited, with a different sound tuning from PN 140828.
why this one: Twenty dollars cheaper than the 140828 for the same body and engine - the difference is sound tuning, so pick on tone not price.
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, 2.0L Turbo, 4-Door for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (2.0L Turbo I4)
Cat-Back · 2018-2026
Borla Climber Cat-Back Exhaust System, 2.0L Turbo, 4-Door
fits 2.0L Turbo I4

install
n/a
pairs with: Intake
number source
A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. This one is cut specifically for the 2.0L turbo four-cylinder Unlimited, which routes differently from the V6.
why this one: The 3.6L V6 systems do not fit the turbo four - if you have the 2.0T this is the part number family you need.

A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. Climber routing for the 2.0L turbo Unlimited, a different sound tuning from PN 140787.
why this one: The cheapest Borla cat-back for a 2.0T Unlimited.
Borla Axle-Back Exhaust System, 3.6L V6 for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6)

This is an AXLE-BACK, not a cat-back: it only replaces the exhaust from the rear axle back, so it is a shorter, simpler job than a cat-back but changes less of the system.
why this one: Fits both 2-door and 4-door and both 2WD and 4WD, which makes it the least fitment-fussy exhaust on the JL.
Borla Axle-Back Exhaust System, 2.0L Turbo (4xe compatible) for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (2.0L Turbo I4, 2.0L Turbo I4 Plug-In Hybrid)

This is an AXLE-BACK, not a cat-back: it replaces the exhaust from the rear axle back only. This version is cut for the 2.0L turbo and is one of the few systems Borla lists as 4xe compatible.
why this one: If you have a 4xe, most cat-backs are explicitly excluded - this axle-back is the one Borla says will actually fit.
Borla Connecting Pipe, Resonator Loop Delete for 2018-2026 Jeep Wrangler (3.6L Pentastar V6)

n/a
pairs with: Cat-Back
number source
A short straight pipe that replaces the factory resonator loop in the middle of the exhaust. It is a partial modification, not a full exhaust system.
why this one: By far the cheapest way to change the JL exhaust note - under two hundred dollars, and it is a single pipe swap.

A cat-back exhaust replaces the piping and muffler behind the catalytic converter. MagnaFlow Street Series uses 2.5in mandrel-bent piping and dual straight-through mufflers, exiting as a dual split rear with 4in black-coated tips.
why this one: MagnaFlow rates this only moderate outside and mild inside, so it is the option if you want the look and a mild change rather than a loud Jeep.

Suspension

Suspension · 2018-2023
Rough Country 2.5 Inch Suspension Lift Kit
fits 3.6L Pentastar V6 · 2.0L Turbo I4 · 3.0L EcoDiesel V6
estimate pending research

n/a
pairs with: Wheel, Tire
number source
A 2.5 inch suspension lift kit, bolt-on with no cutting or welding. Rough Country states it clears up to 35-inch tires.
why this one: This is the cheapest route to 35s on a JL, and the base kit is under two hundred dollars before you add shocks.
